Mission & Vision
Our purpose and the future we are building together
About BIPCA
Islamic Psychology is not motivational spirituality, nor merely faith-sensitive counselling. It is a distinct epistemological framework rooted in revelation and refined by centuries of Islamic scholarship.

Our Journey
In an increasingly hypersexualized digital world, where moral boundaries are blurred and human dignity is often treated as a commodity, Muslims often turn to secular therapeutic models for support. Yet true healing remains incomplete if it does not nurture the soul and reconnect the heart to its Creator.
Inspired by the Qur'anic vision of purification, Allah says in Surah Al-Jumu'ah (62:2) that the Messenger was sent to recite His verses, purify them (yuzakkihim), and teach them the Book and wisdom. At the core of this divine mission lies tazkiyah, a transformative process of inner purification that shapes our understanding of true psychological and spiritual well-being.
With this vision, in early 2025 we connected with the living legend of Islamic psychology, Prof. Dr. G. Hussein Rassool. During his visit to Bangladesh, the country's first International Conference on Islamic Psychology and a workshop on spiritual interventions were organized. It was through this historic workshop, under his guidance, that BIPCA was formally established.
